6. Shipping & Delivery
6.1 Delivery Regions
We currently deliver to addresses in Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and Zimbabwe. Delivery to other countries may be available upon request — contact us at info@teklofts.com.
6.2 Processing Times
Orders are processed within 1–3 Business Days of receiving confirmed payment. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next Business Day.
6.3 Estimated Delivery Times
| Region | Standard Delivery | Express Delivery |
|---|---|---|
| United Kingdom | 3–5 Business Days | 1–2 Business Days (where available) |
| Nigeria | 5–10 Business Days | 3–5 Business Days (major cities) |
| Zimbabwe | 7–14 Business Days | Contact us |
These are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Actual delivery times may vary due to courier capacity, customs processing, remote locations, or other factors beyond our control.
6.4 Delivery Charges
Delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on your location, order weight, and selected delivery method. Free standard shipping is available on orders meeting our minimum spend threshold (as displayed on the website at time of purchase).
6.5 Risk and Title
Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery to your specified address. Legal title (ownership) of the goods passes to you upon receipt of full payment.
6.6 Failed Delivery
If delivery is attempted but unsuccessful (e.g., you are not available and no safe place exists), the courier may leave a calling card and re-attempt delivery or return the parcel to a local depot or to us. Re-delivery charges may apply. If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address provided by you, or failure to collect, re-shipping costs are at your expense.
6.7 Delays and Lost Parcels
Teklofts is not liable for delays caused by courier services, customs authorities, weather events, strikes, or any other factors outside our direct control. If you believe your parcel is lost, please contact us no later than 30 days after the estimated delivery date for UK orders, or 45 days for international orders.
7. Returns & Refund Policy
7.1 Standard Return Window
You may return products within 14 days of delivery (extended from our previous 7-day window to comply with UK consumer law requirements). UK customers have a statutory 14-day cancellation right; we extend this policy globally to all customers as a goodwill measure.
7.2 Return Eligibility Conditions
To be eligible for a return, all of the following conditions must be met:
- The item is unused, unactivated, and in its original condition
- All original packaging, accessories, manuals, and free gifts are included
- The item has not been physically damaged, modified, or tampered with
- The return is initiated within the applicable return window
- Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is provided
7.3 Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned unless faulty:
- Items that have been used, activated, or registered to an account
- Products with broken seals (where the seal confirms first-use)
- Downloaded software or digital licence keys once revealed
- Personalised or custom-configured items
- Products explicitly listed as non-returnable on the product page
- Hygiene or personal-use items once opened (e.g., earbuds, headphones)
7.4 Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrectly Delivered Items
If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect product:
- Notify us within 48 hours of delivery by emailing info@teklofts.com
- Include your order number, a description of the issue, and photographic or video evidence
- We will, at our discretion and subject to availability, offer: a replacement product, a repair, or a full refund including original delivery charges
- We will cover the return shipping costs for faulty or incorrectly sent items
7.5 Return Process
- Email info@teklofts.com with subject line "Return Request — [Your Order Number]"
- Include your name, order number, and reason for return (and evidence if the item is faulty)
- We will respond within 2 Business Days with a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number and return instructions
- Package the item securely (using the original packaging where possible) and include the RMA number visibly on the outside of the parcel
- Send the item to the address provided in our return instructions. Do not return items without an RMA number — these may be refused
- Keep your proof of postage and tracking number
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrectly sent by us. We recommend using a tracked service — we cannot be responsible for returns lost in transit.
7.6 Refunds
Upon receiving and inspecting the returned item, we will process your refund within 5–10 Business Days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method used. We will email you to confirm the refund has been processed.
Note: depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take a further 3–5 Business Days for the refund to appear in your account after we have processed it.
Partial refunds may be issued where an item is returned in a condition that reduces its resale value (e.g., missing accessories, damaged packaging).
7.7 Zimbabwe Consumer Protections
Zimbabwean consumers are also protected under the Consumer Contracts Act. Where Zimbabwean law provides greater consumer protections than the terms above, those statutory protections apply and are not excluded by these terms.
8. Product Information
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, images, specifications, and prices displayed on our website are accurate. However:
- Product images are for illustrative purposes only and may not be an exact representation of the product you receive
- Slight colour variations may occur due to monitor calibration differences
- Product specifications are provided by manufacturers and may change without notice
- We do not guarantee that product descriptions are completely free of errors or omissions
- Where products include software or firmware, the version included may differ from the version shown
If you discover a material inaccuracy in a product description after purchase, please contact us. Where the inaccuracy is material and affects your decision to purchase, we will work with you to find a fair resolution.

9.1 Manufacturer Warranty
Many of our products come with a manufacturer's warranty. The duration and terms vary by product and are stated on the product page where applicable. Manufacturer warranties are in addition to your statutory consumer rights.

- Loss of profits, business, revenue, or anticipated savings
- Loss of data or goodwill

15. Consumer Rights & Statutory Protections
These Terms do not affect your statutory consumer rights. The following statutory frameworks apply to customers in our key markets:
United Kingdom

- Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended)
Nigeria
- Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 (FCCPA)
- Consumer Protection Council Act (CPC Act)
- Sale of Goods Act (applicable states)
- Electronic Transactions Act 2024 (where enacted)
Zimbabwe
- Consumer Contracts Act (Chapter 8:03)
- Postal and Telecommunications Act
- Electronic Transactions Act
- Competition and Tariff Commission Act
Where any provision of these Terms conflicts with a mandatory statutory consumer protection right, the statutory right prevails.
16. Force Majeure
Teklofts Limited shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, or extreme weather events
- Pandemics or public health emergencies
- Acts of government, war, terrorism, civil unrest, or sanctions
- Industrial action (strikes) affecting our suppliers or logistics partners

In such circumstances, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and take reasonable steps to minimise the impact. If the delay extends beyond 30 days, either party may cancel the affected order for a full refund.
17. Dispute Resolution

17.2 Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
UK Customers: If we cannot resolve your complaint through our internal process, you may refer the dispute to an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) body. We will provide details of an approved ADR scheme upon request. UK consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
17.3 Mediation
Before initiating formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt resolution through mediation. A mediator will be appointed by mutual agreement. The costs of mediation will be shared equally unless otherwise agreed.
17.4 Legal Proceedings
Nothing in this Section prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive or other equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.
18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of:
- England and Wales — for customers in the United Kingdom and internationally (excluding Nigeria and Zimbabwe)
- Federal Republic of Nigeria — for customers in Nigeria and other African countries (excluding Zimbabwe)
- Republic of Zimbabwe — for customers in Zimbabwe, where Zimbabwean consumer law provisions require local jurisdiction
The applicable jurisdiction for formal legal proceedings is determined by your delivery address. UK customers submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Nigerian customers submit to the jurisdiction of the Federal High Court of Nigeria (or appropriate State court). Zimbabwean customers submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Zimbabwe.
Nothing in this clause restricts your right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of habitual residence under applicable consumer protection law.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed from these Terms and the remainder of the Terms shall continue in full force and effect. The parties agree to negotiate in good faith to replace any severed provision with a valid and enforceable provision that, to the greatest extent possible, achieves the original commercial intent.

- Post the updated Terms on this page with an updated effective date
- Display a notice on our website for at least 14 days
